Moose Gate Privacy Policy

Moose Gate is a product of Culler Digital Media. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information from website visitors, lodge customers, portal users, and Moose Gate door devices.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you submit a contact form, create a lodge account, purchase service, use the customer portal, request support, invite other portal users, or update lodge/device settings.
- Contact and account information, such as name, email address, phone number, lodge name, lodge number, address, billing email, and portal login details.
- Service and device information, such as device names, installation notes, desired Wi-Fi settings, device status, report timestamps, and support/configuration requests.
- Door access reporting data, such as member name, member ID, scan timestamp, membership expiration date when available, granted or denied result, and denial reason when available.
- Member suspension data entered by lodge portal users, usually member ID and suspension end date.
- Website and operational records, such as lead submissions, site-hit counts, request logs, and basic technical data needed to run and secure the service.
Billing And Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Moose Gate does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe may collect and process payment information, billing details, fraud-prevention signals, and transaction history under Stripe's own privacy policy.
We store Stripe customer, subscription, invoice, and payment status identifiers so the customer portal can show account status, invoice history, and billing-management links.
How We Use Information
- To provide Moose Gate service, customer portal access, door reporting, support, billing, notifications, and account administration.
- To provision devices, respond to support requests, review device/reporting health, and coordinate manual configuration tasks.
- To help lodge officers review access logs, manage member suspensions, and maintain their lodge account.
- To improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, protect the service, and prevent abuse or unauthorized access.
- To contact you about your inquiry, account, payment status, device requests, or support needs.
Sharing Information
We do not sell customer or member data. We share information only when needed to operate Moose Gate, process payments, provide support, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or complete a request made by the lodge customer.
Service providers may include payment processors, hosting providers, email/SMS providers, backup systems, and support tools. Those providers should only receive the information needed for their role.
Lodge And Member Data
Door access logs and suspension tools are provided for the lodge account that controls the Moose Gate device. Lodge officers with portal access may see lodge-scoped door activity and manage lodge-scoped suspensions. Moose Gate is not Moose International and does not claim live Moose International account integration unless separately stated.
Public suspension files, when enabled for device use, contain member IDs and suspension dates for a specific lodge. They are designed for device consumption and should not contain member names or raw card/QR/magstripe values.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect Moose Gate systems, including authentication for customer/admin areas, webhook signature checks for Stripe events, database backups, and restricted access to operational systems. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Retention
We keep account, billing, support, device, and door reporting records as long as needed to provide service, maintain business records, troubleshoot issues, resolve disputes, comply with obligations, and protect the system. A lodge may request deletion or export of its customer data, subject to legal, billing, security, and backup-retention limits.
Your Choices
You may contact us to request correction, export, or deletion of customer account information. Portal users can update certain account and contact details in the customer portal. Billing details are managed through Stripe's hosted billing tools when available.
